Noted for being the other “twin” of the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, Minneapolis lies on both banks of the Mississippi River and includes 13 lakes and an abundance of wetlands, creeks and waterfalls, creating plenty of opportunities for group excursions surrounding swimming, climbing and relaxation in nature.

If shopping is an activity your group is interested in, PRA’s professionals can arrange a day at the Mall of America, a wonderful place to purchase due to no sales tax on apparel and accessories. Non-shoppers can have their day too, perhaps by visiting the 2,100-foot granite and limestone Stone Arch Bridge, designated a Historic Civil Engineering Landmark in 1971. Then head over to the renowned Guthrie Theater, known for its avant-garde productions. PRA can also arrange a tour backstage if that is more schedule-worthy. Another destination of note is the Walker Art Center, famous for the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, the largest of its kind in the country.

Foodies are in the right place, as Minneapolis is home to “Eat Street,” popular hotspot Butcher & the Boar and the Cathedral Hill area—ideal for an after-meeting happy hour.
