What Drives Your Passion?

At PRA, business events are part of our DNA. We have more than a profession. We have a calling to deliver experiences that move your audience and your business forward.

Our passion resides in our creative ideas and attention to every program detail – and in the joy we feel in working with you in places we love. We do whatever it takes as we support many of the world’s most respected brands.

We recently sat down with two PRA industry veterans, Shari Millman, Senior Vice President Business Operations, and Annette Gregg, Regional Senior Vice President, to ask them about how passion is woven into every aspect of the event management experience – for both the planner and the guest.

Experiences

“Those who are passionate about events see the world differently,” commented Shari.  “Everything becomes an experience; something you want to share with others so they can know and feel the joy of trying something new.  We deliver possibilities of unique locations where the hidden becomes viewable. We bring to life what you can’t find online.”

Shari went on to add: “And for PRA, passion truly comes down to the people.  People who care and want to make special memories for others.  These people don’t cure disease or explore galaxies, they simply move hearts, minds and businesses forward.   They love what they do; they love their clients, their cities, their supplier partners and teams.  Who else would work 24/7 and often go nameless to make events come alive for strangers?”

Curiosity

For Annette, cultivating her passion in the events industry came through fostering professional curiosity. In doing so, she found a love for event management and steered the trajectory of her career into this industry.

“When we find a cause we believe in, we need to commit to it professionally. I am passionate about live events because they bring people together to connect, collaborate and change their communities. Most importantly, events help people break from their routines and ignite their brains in different ways. And in this digital age, we need live events more than ever to connect people in a disconnected world.”

Passion isn’t just a facet of being a business event planner; it’s the trademark of who we are as individuals. We are passionate about our clients and this industry, and our passion is demonstrated in the energy and creativity we deliver to our client every day in every way.
