Built on Trust: 30 Years with The Broadmoor
A decades-long partnership created by shared values, goals, and strategy

For three decades, PRA and The Broadmoor have worked side by side in Colorado Springs—creating a relationship built on trust, alignment, and shared ownership. Together, they’ve shaped a seamless approach to delivering client events from the first ask to the final detail of every experience.
It’s a relationship rooted in shared values: a commitment to excellence, a belief in what place makes possible, and a consistent standard of white-glove service. That synergy has evolved into something deeper—one team, working toward a shared goal.
As Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, my time is focused on relationships like this—those that go beyond preferred vendor status to become truly strategic partners. I sat down with Jessica Hamilton, who leads our work with The Broadmoor, to unpack how the relationship has evolved and endured.

Q: How has our partnership with the Broadmoor stayed strong—and relevant—over 30 years?
Jessica: The word that immediately comes to mind is trust. Thirty years doesn't happen because of a contract. It happens because both of us have consistently shown up for each other, tackled challenges together, and always put the client first.
At its core, this partnership is really about people. While team members have evolved over the years, the culture and shared commitment haven't changed. We know each other's expectations, communicate openly, and genuinely enjoy working together.
We also never take the relationship for granted. We continue to invest in it through regular communication, celebrating successes, solving challenges together, and finding new ways to support one another. That's what has kept the partnership not only strong, but relevant after 30 years.
Q: How does that alignment show up in the experience for clients?
Jessica: Clients can feel the difference immediately. They don't have to navigate multiple teams or wonder who's responsible for what, they have one collaborative team working on their behalf. That creates confidence and speeds up the planning process.
It also allows us to be more strategic from the very beginning. Because we know The Broadmoor so well, we're not just dreaming up creative ideas, we're designing experiences that are thoughtfully tailored to the property. We understand how guests move through the spaces, how to maximize each venue, and how to bring ideas to life in a way that's both innovative and seamless.

Q: The Broadmoor has a strong network of preferred partners. How does that factor into your approach?
Jessica: It's a critical part of the partnership. One of the things The Broadmoor does exceptionally well is cultivate partners who share the same commitment to service and excellence. Respecting those relationships is an important part of maintaining ours.
Q: Can you share an example of the partnership in action?
Jessica: One of my favorite examples involved a client that had been coming to The Broadmoor for many years. As their program grew, they eventually outgrew the space they traditionally used.
It would have been easy to say, "That won't work." Instead, our teams immediately started asking, "What if?"
Together, we reimagined how the space could be used—expanding into an outdoor setting that had never been used that way before—creating an experience that felt more immersive than the original plan. It required flexibility from The Broadmoor and creativity from PRA, but with so much trust between our teams, everyone was willing to find a solution.
Watching the client experience that event—and seeing what initially felt like challenge become a program highlight—is exactly why I love what I do! Those are the moments that remind me what a true partnership can accomplish.

Q: What does each partner bring to the table that makes this work so well?
Jessica: The Broadmoor has mastered the art of hospitality. Their team consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences with the highest level of service.
Our role is to build on that foundation. We bring the creativity, local expertise, and event strategy that helps clients see the property through a new lens. Whether it's reimagining a familiar venue or introducing guests to experiences beyond the resort, we're always looking for ways to make each program feel fresh and memorable.

Q: How does your long-standing presence at the property benefit clients directly?
Jessica: It gives clients confidence throughout the planning process. We're not spending time learning the property—we're guiding clients with insights that can only come from years of experience. We understand which spaces work best for different objectives, where there are opportunities to think creatively, and how to anticipate challenges before they arise.
Q: Looking ahead, how does the partnership continue to evolve?
Jessica: It's easy to be inspired by a property that's constantly evolving while staying true to what made it iconic in the first place.
Many of our clients return year after year, so we're always looking for ways to reinvent the guest experience—introducing new concepts and theming, activating familiar spaces differently, and ensuring returning guests discover something new each time they visit.
We are always asking ourselves, "How can we make next year's event even better than this year's?"

Q: What are you most proud of when you think about this 30 year partnership?
Jessica: Honestly, I'm just really proud of what we've accomplished together. We've spent 30 years creating memorable experiences for clients who continue to come back to The Broadmoor, and that's something we're incredibly proud of.
What stands out to me isn't just the events we've produced—it's how we've worked together along the way. Whether we're celebrating a big success or tackling a challenge, there's always a shared commitment to finding the best solution for the client.
To me, that's what a true partnership looks like, and it's something I never take for granted.
