Regional Vice President
Ismael Monroig, Jr. is a dynamic business strategist and sales executive renowned for his prowess in driving revenue growth, cultivating key customer relationships, optimizing operational efficiency, and galvanizing teams toward both individual and corporate triumph. With a keen vision for organizational direction, he excels in translating overarching goals into actionable strategies with precision and clarity. Specializing in operational support and sales strategy consulting, he empowers organizations to achieve their goals with precision and efficacy. Ismael has held various leadership positions, including City Commissioner and member of multiple boards in the City of Pembroke Pines, Chairman and Vice Chair of Development at the Miramar-Pembroke Pines Chamber of Commerce, and member of the Greater Miami & The Beaches Hotel Association Board of Directors.
Regional Program Finance Manager
Colleen Ambrose was born and raised in the Northwestern suburbs of Chicago. After earning a B.S. in Management from Indiana University, Colleen began her career as an administrative professional. With a heart for assisting others, she thrived as a Legal Assistant at a Personal Injury Firm, providing exceptional support to clients during their most vulnerable times. Driven by a passion for numbers and a desire to make a broader impact, Colleen took on a new adventure in 2023, joining PRA as the Regional Program Finance Manager overseeing the Midwest and Southeast regions. In this role, she continues to channel her dedication to helping others while leveraging her financial knowledge. Beyond her financial acumen and professional pursuits, Colleen finds joy in challenging herself through various physical activities. When she’s not immersed in creating spreadsheets, you might find her perfecting her golf swing or passionately cheering on the Chicago Cubs!
Regional Sales Manager
Emily joined the PRA team in 2023 with nearly 20 years of experience in hospitality, catering sales, and event planning. Her passion for culinary arts has inspired her career path as well as her many travels. After receiving formal training at Le Cordon Bleu Miami, she started her own small catering business and fell in love with the hospitality and event industry. She has held positions in catering sales and event management at 4 South Florida luxury resorts and most recently served as Director of Events for the Grande Oaks Golf Club at NSU Davie. Emily loves providing memorable experiences for people. Whether it’s preparing an amazing meal or transforming a space into the unexpected, events offer so many ways to provide a sensory experience that can be remembered forever. As Regional Sales Manager, she applies her passions and expertise to support our PRA clients in providing these unique, exciting, and unforgettable occasions.
Experience Designer
Born & raised in South Florida, Jennifer is a true Sunshine State native, whose journey in the world of events began with a bachelor’s degree in Event Management from the University of Central Florida. With roots firmly planted in this beautiful state, Jenn sure does know her way around. As an Experience Designer at South Florida PRA, Jennifer continues to weave her magic, forging meaningful connections and brining ideas to life. She’s dedicated to crafting truly unforgettable experiences for every guest, ensuring that each event is a masterpiece of thoughtful planning and creative execution. When Jennifer isn’t immersed in the exhilarating world of designing and planning, you can find her living life to the fullest. She loves the energy of a live concert, the thrill of exploring local hidden gems, and the comforting creativity of cooking up delicious new recipes.
Director of Sales
Jessica James joined PRA Southeast in 2022. As a Certified Meeting Planner, she brings significant depth and breadth of experience from more than a decade of specializing in the Hospitality, Tourism and Business events industry. Driven by a passion for building client relationships, Jessica cherishes opportunities to draw from her background in Corporate, Association and Social markets to exceed client expectations. Jessica most recently worked at The Boca Raton, leading the Resort’s luxury lifestyle activities, entertainment, and special events. Prior, Jessica spent 8 years at The Walt Disney Company where she executed events across five convention centers, world-renowned theme parks and waterparks. Out of many spectacular events, an exclusive evening party for 800 people in Magic Kingdom with a custom firework show over Cinderella’s castle remains a standout experience.
Managing Director
Born and raised in South Miami, Rob immersed himself into the DMC industry in 1999 after a tenured career in the airline industry. Rob’s versatility comes from his diversity of experience over the years such as traveling the world as a Travel Director and managing the functional operations and sales for a large statewide DMC in Miami. He moved to Chicago in 2007 and is excited to be back “home” in the Southeast Region as Managing Director. Rob spends his off time with family and friends and has become quite the cook after an extensive amount of time at home during the pandemic!
Regional Sales Manager
Born and raised in South Florida, Melissa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University. From early on, she has been passionate about creating meaningful and memorable experiences for others. She began her career in the hotel industry, focusing on events, and quickly discovered her love for the fast-paced, detail-driven world of hospitality. With over 15 years of experience, Melissa brings a deep understanding of event planning, client service, and operational excellence to every project.
Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of building lasting relationships with clients — many of whom have become friends. Melissa truly believes in the power of personal connection and strives to make every experience feel thoughtful and special.
Outside of work, she is a proud mom to three little ones who keep her inspired and on her toes. Melissa is also bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish, which has been a valuable asset in connecting with clients and teams from diverse backgrounds. She is excited to bring her passion, experience, and energy to the team at PRA.
Event Manager
Jeannine is a Florida native with a degree in Event Management from the University of Central Florida. With a diverse background in hotels, corporate, social, incentive, and non-profits, she has successfully planned, executed, and managed a variety of events. Passionate about creating unforgettable experiences, Jeannine is dedicated to creating unique, impactful events that leave a lasting impression. She has joined South Florida PRA to begin the next exciting chapter of her career. When she’s not crafting memorable events, you’ll likely find Jeannine exploring the sunny sights of South Florida or traveling to new destinations!
Experience Designer
Originally from New York, Eliana discovered her passion for events while attending Florida State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management & Tourism. During her time there, she gained valuable experience in the catering industry, progressing from day-of operations to sales. Eliana quickly found her home in Fort Lauderdale, where she continued her career as an event sales manager. She finds deep fulfillment in serving others through hospitality and contributing to the most important moments in their lives. Eliana joined PRA as an Experience Designer, where she continues to bring clients’ ideas to life and create unforgettable experiences for their guests. Outside of work, Eliana enjoys cooking, baking, and staying active outdoors. You’ll often find her exploring local museums, trying new restaurants, or soaking up the beautiful Florida weather!
Event Producer
Gabriella was born and raised in Brasilia, Brazil. In 2017, she moved to the United States and ventured into the events industry. Coming from The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas, Gabriella is very passionate about hospitality and event planning. She looks forward to continuously growing in her career and contributing to PRA and her team’s success. Outside of work, Gabriella is very interested in the fashion world, and enjoys going to the beach, reading, working out, and spending time with her family.
Associate Director of Experience Design
Nicole Smolen comes to us with a background in public relations and social and corporate event planning, focusing on delivering quality and top-notch service. She has successfully planned high-end events for Fortune 500 companies, government entities and international embassies. She focuses on executing her client’s goals by listening to their needs and turning their vision into a reality. Her attention to detail, ability to handle multiple projects, and creativity skills all coincide to make her a key team member at PRA.
Senior Event Producer
Originally hailing from the Windy City, Carol got her start in transportation working in the meetings and events department for one of the largest transportation companies. In 2000, Carol moved to sunny South Florida where she continued her career in transportation. Carol left the chauffeured transportation industry in 2002 to join the exciting world of corporate meetings and events, overseeing events from 50 to over 1500 attendees. While Carol has managed all sides of events for Fortune 500 companies, she has a strong eye for detail in staffing and transportation. Carol loves being a member of the PRA family and brings over 20 years of experience in event production. Outside of work, you’ll find Carol spending time with her family and friends by the pool or at a concert.
Event Producer II
Cleo was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she graduated in Events Management and started her career in the Travel Management, Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions industry. In 2009, Cleo moved to the United States and continue her studies in the fields of Communications and Event Leadership. After gaining extensive experience working in airlines, travel agencies, communications agencies, public relations firms and DMCs, Cleo joined the PRA team in South Florida for a new chapter of learning and making memorable events. In her free time, you may find Cleo biking around or running with her Aussie dog Bingo!
Associate Director of Events
Jasmine was born and raised in Boston where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, with a minor in Hospitality & Event Management. While working as an Office Manager at Twitter Boston, she quickly realized that her true passion was for event planning. In 2013, she packed her bags and chased the sunshine down to Miami where she began her career in hospitality and has been in the events industry since! Her calm demeanor and attention to detail, coupled with her experience in event logistics and vendor management makes Jasmine a successful Senior Event Producer ready to take on any type of program. During her free time, you will likely find Jasmine by the water or traveling somewhere new!
Senior Regional Sales Manager
While some youngsters play school, Erica Kloke, CMP, has childhood memories playing “Meeting Planner,” complete with binders of meeting minutes and monogrammed napkins! So, to say being in the event industry has been her life’s dream isn’t an exaggeration! A Nashville native, Erica graduated from University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and started her career as Director of Events at a local nonprofit museum and venue. Through her years there, she produced hundreds of weddings, parties, fundraisers, and corporate events. From connecting with clients, seeing a vision come to life, and even the small logistical details, her passion for events has only grown. Now, as a PRA Event Producer, Erica gets to bring her enthusiasm and skill to clients in Nashville and beyond.
When not executing programs, Erica spends her time enjoying live music, hot yoga traveling and being outdoors.
Senior Vice President, Business Operations
Michael brings more than twenty years of experience in executive management to the PRA team. In his role as Senior Vice President, Business Operations, Michael is responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to support company initiatives, while creating synergies and leverage opportunities throughout the PRA system.
