Heather Tofson, CSEP, DMCP

Regional Vice President, Mountains West

Heather has been with PRA since 2006 and has had the opportunity to work from the ground up, which has been instrumental in her success selling and executing the ultimate group experiences for clients visiting from around the World. She began her career with PRA in the Northern California office and now has the pleasure of overseeing the Mountains West Region. Her passion for the events industry is apparent in her award-winning client events, past Presidency of the ILEA-NCC chapter and active involvement in FICP, MPI, SITE and PRA Committees. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tyler, sons Briggs and Jack and dog, Finley.

Caplin Lawrence

Regional Director of Experience Design

Caplin joined the PRA family starting in 2016 as an Experience Designer with the Chicago office. With a love for creativity, she applies passion to her work by designing experiences that leave a lasting impression on attendees. She volunteers her time as a member of MPI, holding previous positions on the Board of Directors and as a committee co-chair. With the excitement of joining the PRA Mountains West Region, Caplin brings a unique perspective on ways to showcase the Rocky Mountains and Lake Tahoe. In her free time, Caplin enjoys attending concerts, traveling, trying new restaurants, and time with friends and family!

Aspen Krajewski

Regional Director of Events

Aspen joined PRA as an Account Manager for the Hawaii office in 2015. During her time in the aloha state, she held titles and responsibilities in sales, experience design and event management. After a great three years, she decided to trade-in her surfboard for snow skis and relocate to Colorado. As Regional Director of Events, she is responsible for creating unforgettable experiences for large full-service programs.

Aspen began her event planning career at Texas Tech University while working towards a degree in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management, and comes to PRA with 12 years of event planning experience.  In her free time, Aspen and her husband enjoy being tourists in their own town, exploring the best restaurants, breweries, hiking trails and locals-only spots that make Colorado such a unique destination.

Kellie Walker

Managing Director

Kellie began her career in the event industry at PRA Chicago in 2012 after studying Tourism Management at Indiana University. During her time at PRA Chicago she excelled in sales, experience design and event production. Kellie is excited trade in skyscrapers for the mountains as a leader of the Utah team and Mountains Region. Kellie’s favorite things about PRA are the relationships and true collaboration that take place between clients, team members and supplier partners to create unforgettable events. She has vast experience in complex events and enjoys proactive problem-solving to ensure that design and execution seamlessly coincide with a client’s vision and goals. Outside of work Kellie enjoys being outdoors snowboarding, biking, camping and as a true Pisces, any activity on or near the water.  She also enjoys spending time with her partner, family and fur-baby Fallon.

Abbey Schnitzius

Event Manager

Abbey is a Lake Tahoe native with a passion for creating unforgettable events. Having explored 55 countries, she considers Lake Tahoe one of her favorite places, making her an expert on the area. Abbey’s journey into event production began while studying cinematography and live video production overseas. An experienced sailor and industry professional, Abbey joined PRA in 2017, was promoted to Event Producer in 2021, and became an Event Manager in 2024. Her love for culture, people, and adventure gives her a unique ability to plan memorable experiences. When not producing events, she’s likely sailing Lake Tahoe, hiking, or skiing with her husband, Trevor.

Kim Parkinson

Senior Experience Designer

Kim is an experienced event professional with over 15 years of varied experience in the industry. Having planned and executed events and incentive programs in multiple countries, Kim knows first-hand the value of working with a destination management company. Kim’s proficiency in balancing creativity with logistics, financial planning, and supplier management allows her to bring value and support to the sales team—and our clients! A northern Utah native, Kim spends her free time outdoors enjoying Utah's four distinct seasons with her daughter, Janessa, and their Shih Tzu, Rumi.

Kaity Shackelford

Regional Program Finance Manager

Kaity has climbed up the operations ladder with PRA throughout the years. While attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, she was the Operations Intern for the Orange County/Los Angeles offices. After she graduated from UNLV with a major in Hospitality Management and a concentration in Event Management, she worked full-time as PRA OC/LA's Operations Coordinator. A few years later, she was promoted to an Event Producer. Her other event experience includes working for the Academy of Country Music, The Aria Las Vegas, a local DMC in Seattle, a commercial real estate company in Las Vegas, the USO and more. She and her husband just returned from living in Germany in January 2022 and now call Idaho home. They are expecting their first baby in December 2022! When she is not working, she is planning her next vacation, shopping for baby clothes or learning how to garden.

Michael Costa

Senior Vice President, Business Operations

Michael brings more than twenty years of experience in executive management to the PRA team. In his role as Senior Vice President, Business Operations, Michael is responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to support company initiatives, while creating synergies and leverage opportunities throughout the PRA system.
