The team had been successfully designing and producing events for the Event’s team at Raising Cane’s® for several years. So, they didn’t hesitate when Raising Cane’s brand team reached out for help. In just three weeks, PRA transformed a Raising Cane’s parking lot into a fully immersive, football-inspired premiere for Hulu’s Chad Powers, a Hulu® original series. Designed exclusively for influencers, the event blended turf drills, branded photo ops, and a stadium-style screening—all delivered under a tight timeline and complex approval chain.

Timing was the overarching challenge. The team needed to wrap a multi-layered, multi-brand event into one cohesive, elevated experience in just three short weeks. The short timeframe brought the challenge to a new, higher level. There were also multiple layers of approval to consider between Raising Cane’s, Glen Powell and the Chad Powers team, and Hulu, which could impede timing. Additionally, the team needed to react quickly, and pivot as needed as plans for the event footprint shifted over the three weeks.
The team quickly partnered with the production services team, jumping into solutions mode together to cohesively align creative vision, production design, and operations. This one-stop-shop approach is seamless for clients and allows PRA teams to support and lean on each other.
The team ideated creative and envisioned the stage, dialing into the latest trends to activate the parking lot and bring the elevated tailgate premier to life from staging to screens, and technical elements.
Together, they built a plan that balanced the fast-moving timeline, strict brand guidelines, and celebrity factor. Clear communication and rapid response were essential. Every approval, from logo placement to printed graphics, required immediate turnaround to keep fabrication and production on schedule.
As the event footprint changed multiple times, the team visited the sites enabling them to design and build an elevated environment beyond a standard parking lot activation. The space was transformed into a fully turfed, football inspired experience complete with a grandstand, scoreboard, stage, screen, and smoke cannons for the premiere moment.
To create a VIP level influencer journey, PRA designed a seamless flow: influencers entered through Raising Cane’s, engaged with branded photo ops, then transitioned into the outdoor activation for drills, games, and Instragrammable moments. The premiere was a high-energy reveal with Raising Cane’s CEO Todd Graves and Chad Powers’ Glen Powell taking the stage before the screening.
PRA delivered a polished, elevated experience that matched the brands’ expectations. The team presented a wide range of creative options to demonstrate what was possible with the client ultimately selecting a more robust production approach that showcased the full potential of the partnership.
Despite the tight timeline, shifting footprint and layered approvals, PRA delivered a high impact event. Its success led to three additional programs with Raising Cane’s, solidifying PRA as a trusted partner for elevated, fast turn, high visibility activation experiences.
