CHICAGO, IL., November 2, 2017– AlliedPRA, Inc., a global leader in the destination management company (DMC) sector, is pleased to announce sales leader and accomplished business professional, Mary Patton, has joined the AlliedPRA Global Sales Team as Global Sales Director in the Chicago region, according to Laurie Knapp, Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing, AlliedPRA, Inc.

As a key member of the global sales team, Patton is responsible for generating new business leads and revenue streams in the association, corporate meetings and incentives sectors, while managing key accounts and building strong relationships with contacts to firmly establish AlliedPRA as the premier solution for DMC requirements in the US Business Events sector. In addition, Patton will drive strategic sales efforts and client development to the growing North American markets, focusing on supporting clients and helping expand business opportunities into AlliedPRA’s vast global destinations.

With over 25 years in the hospitality industry, Patton brings strong industry relations and a deep knowledge of the hospitality space, having served in various sales and sales leadership positions. Most recently, Patton served as Director of Corporate Groups and Meetings for IHG. She brings an in-depth global sales experience working in various management roles with international hotel management companies focusing on meetings & events.

Patton has been active on a local and national level in various industry organizations throughout her career, including PMCA, MPI and HSMAI. Patton holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University, where she majored in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management. She resides in Chicago with her family.
